Graphics Card

Featured Replies

I'm looking for this graphics card. I went to Panthip a couple of days ago for the day, but could not see this on sale anywhere. Its listed on http://www.hwhinter.com/price_show2.php but the shops in panthip did not have it.

I had to cut my trip short and return to Samui, so did not get a chance to look anywhere else. Does anyone have a website or company name that I can contact to buy this online, as I don't fancy travelling up there again.

Many Thanks

I was looking at getting the same model myself but I'm going to wait now. It's all but confirmed that next month the Geforce 8800 budget line will be released (8600GT & GS models). It's the same price point (~$200US) with roughly 80-100% faster bechmark scores.

Thanks for your replie, I will look into this model. Will this be widely available in Thailand?

Thanks

I agree with Simmo on the 8800. Problem with the 1950 is it is power hungry so need a good power supply and can run hot.

Here's the Geforce 8000 series lineup.

The bottom 4 are rumored to be released next month, so will probably show up in numbers on the local market around May - June.

I think I'll get the 8600 Ultra - best bang for buck.

The 1950Pro and 1950XT are very different. The 1950pro is more mainstream, while the 1950XT is like a cheap version of the extreme cards. If you can, get the XT, and not the pro.
