No. No they don't.

Perhaps in your Benny Hill inspired world this was the norm but not in a business setting where he's an MP and she's a journalist and very importantly SHE'S NOT WANTING OR ENCOURAGING HIS ADVANCES.

I know this is difficult for you old timers but consent is an important part of all of these things.

How old are you Johhny ?

You are completely devoid of facts .

Boris and the female journalist were both journalists at the time .

This happened 20 years ago, you probably cannot remember back then but it wasnt abnormal for people to behave like that back then .

Its appalling that a male should touch a females bum ,m take a visit to any Pattaya bar to get appalled by such terrible behaviour .

So Johhny, you call me an old timer, , so, how old are you ?

John Lennon was hardly a working class hero even from his early days. A multi millionaire while writing those lyrics, which are not really socialist.
Like most musos and stars, you usually find a comfortable middle class background. Often found opportunity through family connections too.

I will agree there like Imagine no possessions when he had a wardrobe stuffed with designer fur coats.....but the sentiments dear boy , the quality of the lyrics - the razor sharp points being made !

Well it hasn't really changed that much; find a girl, woo the girl, don't be grossly inappropriate by trying to sexually grab them without consent and using your political position to harass them for sexual favours.

I'm guessing this hasn't really changed so much throughout the years but maybe you can tell us otherwise?

Johnson is just a slightly more refined version of 'grab em by the pussy' Trump.........I have no doubt he did it and to dozens of others as well. It is what he does as creepy entitled sex-pest but probably more restrained and less prolific than Prince Andrew.

Only with 'implied' consent.....anyway it was her inner thigh by all accounts - the gateway to heaven and a portal to be treated with the utmost respect not grabbed as if trying to bag a bargain in the sale.

Good gawd even the Queen is worried about this sac of lying breath

The Pattaya bar analogy is fallacious - in most bars you could walk into touching is encouraged as a foreplay to buying drinks and more - it is a sex business. However should a skinflint Indian and his mates get touch/feely for any length of time without opening the wallet then they would get the bum's rush so to speak. The implied consent is that money will follow the groping so to speak !

Ha ha , your link states

"However, i understands that any discussions did not relate to an active attempt by the Queen and her most senior advisors to sack Mr Johnson."

There would be copious booze at one of these Spectator long lunches as are their legendary summer garden parties - looks like he has just done the deed with one of his previous squeezes whilst on the hunt for new 'prey'.

Which means she was enquiring about the legal options, not yet activating those options, if any.

So your ha ha seems not justified.

No BT 99 posted the link with the suggestion that the Queen was considering sacking  Boris about the groping allegations .

Whereas all the link stated was that the queen enquired about the legalities of shutting  down Parliament  .

The Queen was inquiring about the legalities, which you would expect her to do

All I see bt99 stating is that she considered due to lying, nothing about groping. Wouldn't make sense anyway, she will be <deleted> off about him lying to her, unless you think he groped her as well?

The 'due to groping allegations' is in your mind only.

20 years ago I was in my early thirties so old enough to remember what was or wasn't normal 'back then' and I can assure you this kind of thing was not normal at all. Perhaps back in your male dominated, misogynist world it was but it certainly wasn't in the 90's when I was out and about.

NB. My apologies but you are correct, he was a journalist at the time.

No, BT 99 posted about the alleged groping allegations and in the same post added a link...............................do go back and read it, instead of me giving you a running commentary on what people have posted in this thread

I'm really not sure where you are going with all this? Are you genuinely saying that sexual assault (because thats what it is) is ok?

Times have changed dramatically from your Mad Men days of the 60's, 70' s and even the 80's but it was never ok to pinch girls backsides in the 90's, especially unsolicited.

Ha ha, Johnny, you are older than me .

You are calling people who are younger than you "old timers" ????

Well you should know better then.

Your type of misogyny is usually done by the old timers, hence my mistake.

You are stating that I am a "misogynist" .

May I suggest that you stop trying to stick unwanted labels on myself and stop this abuse from you to me ?

Try to talk without being rude and/or abusive

Last time you told me to go back and read it you were wrong, same happening here.

He made no connection with groping, even stronger, in the same sentence as the link was the mention of lying.

Behaviour and thinking process can be younger or older than age.

It's not abuse when it's stating facts.

You started off when someone was talking about BJ and his groping with 'Thats not too bad is it, thats the type of thing that everyone gets up to in their younger single years' - wrong, this statement is misogynistic.

You then went on a bizarre tangent about pinching womens bums with 'Have you ever touched a females bottom before?'  and 'You are a true Gentleman *Excuse me Miss, may I place my hand on your bottom*', inferring that it is ok to pinch women's bums without consent - it isn't and that's also misogyny.

So as they say.....if the cap fits.....

I would say the UK government did agree the deal  but i also accept the deal is rejected .

The withdrawal agreement sits in the international plane and since UK parliament inacted the article 50 notice gave the PM a mandate to negotatiate on the UK behalf.

Then you would be wrong. If the UK government HAD accepted the deal, then TM would still be the PM and the UK would be in BRINO.

You are correct that the WA gave the negotiators authority to negotiate, it did NOT give them the authority to close the deal.

In case you had not noticed, there is STILL no agreement signed and sealed by the UK government.

You know this for a fact or is your mind working overtime on possibly, maybe, perhaps etc.

If that is your opinion, fine.

If not then please paste a link or something similar.

No, that doesnt show that I dislike Females , it may indeed show the opposite .

The fact that you have never touched a female, may suggest that you dont like females ?

Anyway, lets get back on topic and put an end to the bickering

Just look back and find the quote. Maybe it was you, maybe max. Should be easy to find, but I'm not doing that for you, especially not on a phone. If you want to react to a discussion at least read the posts concerned please.
