This news item, and indeed press conference does not interest 99% of the Thai

population, I doubt that the display was anymore than a press release which was picked 

up by the foreign media as it had a passing interest to expats.

 

Naturally the bean counters here at Thai visa saw the story as controversial enough 

to illicit outraged comments by the likes of yourself, and condescending retorts

from myself. After all, and I'm sure you know this, Thai visa makes money from

advertising revenue. One way of them to show how many people are looking at

those irritating pop up ads is the comment section and subsequent likes.

 

 

All of yours, and others indignation, oft repeated tirades and dull attempts 

at wit in the relentless struggle to be liked by strangers on the internet,  do amuse me

although following this post no doubt I will be enjoying a well earned holiday.

 

While I'm away I will be chuckling at the sad folk on here displaying their 

Outrage at things that matter very little in the grand scheme!

If they turned all the discarded posters into tote bags & offered them to the CP group for distribution at their convenience stores they could cut the plastic bag issue at cashiers desks in one stroke !
