Anyone looking for the arrival and departure boards at Amsterdam airport, once you find one, take note of what you are looking for

in case you forget, as you may find it hard to find another one.

You are not at Swampy, Heathrow, or Glasgow airports where they are in abundance.

It's been a while, but IIRC the ones in the railway station are pretty visible. The rest were stolen or something.

It is indeed a superb airport, just that the departure/arrival boards have been well camouflaged. A bit like the public toilets at Swampy when it first opened, there but well disguised.

I always thought it was hard to miss them because there are so many of them...

It would be if there were more arrival and departure boards and you did not have to pay

3.50 Euros for a small bottle of water, that's about the same as 3.50 GBP.

You must be pretty blind not to see them, there are loads.

I walked all the way from off the plane from Glasgow to the departure lounge to Bangkok, and only seen one.

From which gate to which one? There are many airlines flying to Bangkok from Amsterdam and they have different gates.

I cannot remember, but it was a very long walk, though it didn't matter as I had about 5 hours wait before my flight to Bangkok. I was obvious looking as I had to know where to go for my flight, and I only saw one arrival and departure board the whole distance.
