Thai Rules On Foreclosures

Recommended Posts

I met my wife 4 years ago and we've been married for 3 years. Prior to our meeting my wife defaulted on her housing loan and subsquently forfeited the property. Several years on after our marriage we bought a town house and later a single house on its own block of land. Her original property was sold by the bank and we believe that the payments she made plus the mortgagees sale would have provided the bank with adequate compensation. Of course the two properties we have now are both in her name but she's changed her family name to mine. If there was a shortfall in the settlement, could the bank take action on our two properties and if so is there a time frame when such action can't be taken.
