Not too hard to imagine canoeing down Nana Soi 4 and Soi Cowboy with the girls waving and dressed in their wellies and chest waders. Something different.

Sales in water beds will go through the roof

Pretty sure that tomorrow they'll spin this into Bangkok and the surrounding areas becoming the new Venice, making the baht even stronger.

According to the website, Samut Prakan on the coast to as far north as parts of Suphanburi will be underwater.

I used to renew my Non-B and do my 90 day reporting at Samut Prakan immigration, right alongside the river.  The car-park was constantly flooding, and a water pump was in operation 24/7; that was at least 10 years ago.

Researchers from Climate Central say that Bangkok could be completely submerged within 30 years.

I don't think it'll be that long.
