Each time Corbyn opens his yap I respect him less and less. This has been my opinion for some years so...

Brexit is a walk in the park compared to what this provo marxist will get upto.

Renationalising everything, taxing everything and everybody.

Giving open season to every benefit cheat in the country to rinse the government.

A well meaning mad man.

Oh, and by the way, sterling will go through the floor.

  • His plan is Thatcherism on steroids ? thats it i am backing him ,loved Thatcher ,saved us from the loony Labour part ,that Corbyn wants to take us back to.

  • If you were an elderly Brit as I am, you would have lived through quite a few Labour governments and have seen their results.   I would not like to see another one in my lifetime.

  • Well if Johnson is "Thatcher on Steroids" then Corbyn is the "Spawn of Stalin"!   Corbyn wants to go back to the spiteful Socialist Workers Party ideas of the 70's - smash capitalism, smash

yes agree,

and the fault is where?

The problem is the leave campaign made promises that we unobtainable and contradictory  - to say they will deliver these promises means they have to lie to people and con them over what they are getting.

I think some of our politicians are seriously too stupid to understand this, while other are happy to be treacherous and mendacious if it keeps them in power. They will poison the well  of British politics for many years to come by using the populist inflammatory political language of will of the people, enemies, traitors and betrayal just to hang on to that power a little longer.

we will be paying the price for this for a generation or more .

Do you have any proof of your last sentence?

Or deliberately posting false information?

Nor does Mr Johnson benefit from the domestic support which Churchill enjoyed through his long and devoted marriage to Clemmie. Mr Johnson was ejected by his second wife, Marina Wheeler, a barrister with whom he has four children, after a series of affairs culminating in one with a Conservative Party public-relations officer which has proved so volatile that worried neighbours called the police when the couple were having a row.

Lara is an editor, writer, and broadcaster, who has written for the Evening Standard. She’s also a features editor for Show Studio, a fashion publication. And when commenting about her father’s affair scandal, she’s rumored to have called him a “selfish <deleted>” and said, “Mum is finished with him. She will never take him back now.”

https://www.yourtango.com/2019326811/who-are-boris-johnsons-kids

And most chillingly and in my eyes what makes him a piece of filth is how he abandoned his so called love child. A deeply unpleasant and thoroughly untrustworthy person on all aspects of his life. The fact that he is currently the Prime Minster of the United Kingdom shames our country. I do hope Karma catches up with him - and soon. He cares only for himself

Who is Stephanie Macintyre and is she the youngest of Boris's children?
Boris' family life has caused him some controversy over the years. His four children have a younger half-sister, Stephanie, who was born in 2009 - the product of an affair with art advisory Helen Macintyre.

Stephanie is the youngest of Johnson's children. At first, he denied paternity and wasn't named on the birth certificate. However, his relations were revealed after a 2013 court battle in which he sought an injunction to prevent her existence being reported. It is not believed her elder half-siblings or her father have anything to do with her.

Aaaaaah, but if we were not leaving the EU you would like me/us.....Trouble with folk like you is you don't like a country with balls, a country where the majority, after many years, saw what the EU was all about, not conducive to our way of life, plus being bossed about by foreigners.

We had enough of foreigners a couple of times last century, it ain't going to happen again via the back door.

But, you can still have your hols on the Cornish Riviera though.... ????

Yeah some of us love the our country but are deeply ashamed that the national discourse has been taken over by idiots spouting nonsense and the 'elites' have cottoned on that by .weaponizing the 'idiocracy' they can hold onto power all wrapped up in a shiny , made in China ,Union Jack. Thankfully Thailand has cottoned on to all these foreigners 'polluting; their country and is showing them the front door.(irony alert). For some reason Thailand seems to attract more than it's fair share of xenophobic misanthropes - can't think why.

Pound overvalued and will help British exports once we are free from the EU-SSR and set free as a global powerhouse. Don't be selfish and just care about the exchange rate for we all must make sacrifices if we are to be free from the tyranny of EU rule and enslavement.

Why your concern for brexit is admirable, perhaps you should devote your skills and talents to domestic affairs don,t both the Basques and Catalonia want independance?

UK is free to go, anytime she fancies, no one is holding on to foggy islands, except those who live there

but it does require a wee bit of grown up concerted action by your parliament

If the UK is free to leave at any time why are still attached to the EU?

TBH the parliament in total doesn't require a wee bit of grown up concerted action' more like a severe axx kicking and wholesale decimation.

It seems as though the Tories are not the only party that the rats are fleeing from.

have absolutely nothing to do with neither of them.... maybe they could be compared to Scotland who also wants independence and the UK not allowing it, but again apples and oranges don't mix

not UK elderly but EU elderly and seen many type of governments, Labour type included, they all have their own advantages and disadvantages mostly, all promising Heaven during campaigning and once in place they all suffer from short term memory loss syndrome, personally never did got involved in politics and never will, am too honest for such type of BS, do respect and understand your opinion, it's up to the UK citizens to make the choice

Scotland voted to stay in the UK union. The SNP, shield beaters, want to take Scotland out of the union.

Now, you really should read up on what is going on in the UK and not read your local rags...????

What flavour of democracy is it that means you are branded a traitor if you don't drop your principles and obediently comply with a minority of people? Your comments don't sound democratic at all.

Not just the SNP but the Scottish Parliament, which has majority backing to seek an independence referendum.

If there was majority backing in Westminster for Brexit, you would be all over it - yet majority backing in Holyrood is to be ignored?

so I was correct saying the conservatives don't allow or want a independent Scotland..... (sarcasm intended here) maybe it's because they will have to pay more for their whisky

not so,

stepping out of the EEA treaty and the treaty of Rome with follow up treaties

is not for the PM to decide in the case of UK

it is for the national assembly or the head of state to decide

so either you get the queen into gear

or you kick sufficient ass in Westminster so that they leave the pubs and

enter the non ORDER! room and make the required decision to leave EU

so far the pub patrons have been screwing around for 3 years, wonder

if they can make 5 years

the continued screwing around has already survived one GE

However this GE will be a lot different IMHO. Firstly many members of several parties have said that they will not be standing for re-election and the remaining MPs will be going back to their constituencies, many of them will be wondering if they will proposed for the seat again after the last 3 years of screwing around.

So far these are not standing:

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/10244588/which-mps-are-not-standing-at-the-next-election/

!9 Tories

16 Labour

 3 Lib/Dems

 6 Odds and sods

 That is 44 so far.

If the Lady was still in charge the whole Brexit deal would have been done and dusted.

It would not have taken her three and a half years to carry out the wishes of the British public.

When they turned back the clocks last week they should have turned them back to 1982, when Britain still had a great leader.

God bless her.

It would have never started.

If there is, indeed, a god, I am confident that she would have gotten nowhere near him.

She would never have called a referendum in the first place. It was always her philosophy to stand and fight from within the EU rather than to run and hide. Something she did very successfully.
