Coming up on the 21st December, the inaugural Chiang Khong Music Fest - a night of good music beside the Mekong.

Jazz, Blues & some rock,  with top blues & jazz bands from Chiang Mai, plus the expat Midnight Ramblers "rolling stones" only band from Bangkok.

The stage will be set up right beside the river with some top musicians beating out a few tunes.

It will be a unique event right beside the Mekong river & not to be missed.

There is nowhere on the MEkong you can do something like this, because everywhere else involves a sandy river bank & track down to the river!

This is something special.

The Chiangmi Blues played in savannakhet, southern Laos, last weekend at the Savan Fun Fest.

Coming to the event ?

There is a free shuttle service operating from 1PM-11PM, from the market & downtown hotels to the ferry port where the event is being staged.
