Because of some medicine being really cheaper at home (Europe), a friend wants to get some (small quantity) mailed from home by a family member.

Is this possible?

She has got a regular medical prescription (certificate) here in Thailand.

Thanks in advance

It is not legal to import any pharmaceutical by mail without an FDA permit which is almost impossible to get.

In practice customs wil usually allow  through small quantities if sent by regular mail (never use a courier).

Make sure it is not a controlled substance of course.

Has she verified there is not an inexpensive local brand?

I'm not 100% sure she has verified it, will check.

By regular mail you mean to use the post office?

Thanks
