Non Immigrant Type 0

Would anyone please advise my options in regard to obtaining a non immigrant type 0 visa - is marrying a thai resident the only requirement here or is there a money requirement as well?

Is one then entitled to apply for a work permit with that non immigrant 0?

Oops. The board said Flood control was on, but it got posted twice.

When you first apply there is no money requirement.

When you go to extend the visa to one year then you will have to show 400,000 baht in the bank or an income of 40,000 a month.

Yes you can work on a Non Imm 'O', as long as you have a Work Permit
