Living on a budget has nothing to do with existing like a tramp. Do you realize most of the retired in Thailand have lost more than 50% of their income in less than 10 years under the double

  • Why would you be concerned what other people are doing? MYOB!

  • Yes he did.....'May I join you? '    LOL

Thais dont have a problem with people bringing their own food, especially in a food court. They do it all the time. I have often seen them do it even in a Thai restaurant/bar. It seems to be part of their culture.

I tend to agree with you.  I have seen videos of a group of Thais even sitting down on the floor in a semi private hospital room.  The expat guy was trying to sleep but the Thais were chattering on oblivious to him.

I am positive that several years ago there were italians hanging out in the old Tops down at the Pattaya Klang and second road intersection in the little food court they used to have there.  They were speaking Italiano anyway

Older Italians can often be seen in small groups on the streets in some North Queensland towns. No real harm done apart from the old pervs making young women uncomfortable as they do tend to look lecherous.

I imagine young Thai women get the same feeling from the mall dwellers.

That’s shocking.

Those ferrangs should stand up immediately and give their chairs to the groups of Indian or Chinese men surely?

Are you kidding! If the sun comes out in the northern UK you have everyone with their shirts off... and in Newcastle they refuse to wear them in February!

I understand the sun coming out is so infrequent there, the risk of offending anyone shirtless is minimal.

While we're at it.....how about all the old gits up stairs in the open air coffee shop.....nursing cups of coffee half the morning perving on thai females doing their daily shop.....wasters ????

So these guys actually have a few mates who they can meet somewhere and socialise.

I guess the irony is the OP, complaining about them is probably sitting alone, in his cheap 28m bedsit, nursing a small can of Chang..

Maybe it is actually the OP that is the saddest part of this story.

Sounds like the model ThaiVisa poster,

who gets all worked up defending how he immediately looks away when he sees any foreigner walk by.
