From the Menu Bar of Firefox:

Bookmarks>Manage Bookmarks>File>Export

Online Bookmark Manager: Online Bookmark Manager is a free bookmark- & favorites service. Store and manage your personal link list in the world wide web. Keep your bookmarks in sync between multiple computers. Furthermore Online Bookmark Manager offers users a Firefox-Plugin (Extension). Synchronize your bookmarks between browser and internet with a simple click. Access to your Bookmarks any time, everywhere and from any computer. The web page is platform-independent. The Online Bookmark Manager does not require any further programs.

Google has a bookmarks service as well. There's a firefox extension to sync your bookmarks to it.

The advantage of mozbackup is it takes along all your settings, plugins, and extensions as well as bookmarks. You can even take the cookies and cache with you if needed.

I wasn't aware of mozbackup. In the past I would just export my bookmarks, then email it to myself. Then save the attachment and load it into the new PC's browser.

In the future, f I happen to remember mozbackup, I will use that. Otherwise, I will use the method I outlined above.
