Glue Sniffer Arrested in Boyztown

There are many glue inhaling addicts walking around Pattaya with a plastic bag containing glue to sniff to get ‘high’ on. On 27th March at 10 pm another was arrested by the Pattaya police.

Mr. Boontham aged 35, a shoe polisher was sniffing his bag of glue in Soi Pattaya Land 2. When he saw the police he threw the bag away and made a run to Soi PattayaLand 1.

A police volunteer was able to capture him in front of a jewelry shop and took him to the police station, but didn’t find anything illegal on the man so could only charge him for being addicted to glue sniffing and further proceedings will be made.

Yes, and as such no further discussion on it please.

Interesting that while possession of a legal substance (I'm assuming this is

a hardware-store product) is legal being addicted to is not.

I wonder how they framed the legislation.

The language of the laws against huffing in the West usually phrase it as "illegal to intentionally concentrate a substance for purposes of intoxication" or similar. It's much more damaging than any narcotic.
