'It was an escape': Brad Pitt, 55, has discussed his alcohol addiction and the life lessons he has learned

 

Brad Pitt has discussed his alcohol addiction and the life lessons he has learned in a wide-ranging interview with Anthony Hopkins.

 

55-year-old Pitt spoke with the 81 year old actor for Interview Magazine, where he revealed all about his issues with alcohol and forgiveness.

 

When Hopkins said he read that he, 'had a struggle with booze and all that,' Pitt said that he viewed drinking as an, 'escape.'

 

'Well, I just saw it as a disservice to myself, as an escape,' Pitt said of his drinking issues in the past.
