Smash up on Third Road

A Kuwait national made a turn with his bike too suddenly, which caused two Thai ladies that were speeding on their motorbike to crash into him and all three got injured.

This occurred on Third Road in front of The Naughty Pub on 30th March.

On arrival the police found the damaged Honda Wave and Honda Click bikes. The injured were Mr. Waleed Alshatt, aged 34, a Kuwait national and Mrs. Uraiwan, aged 31 and Miss Tarika, aged 19. The Sawang rescuers took all three to Memorial Hospital.

Witnesses stated that Mr. Alshatt drove from North Pattaya and made a sudden turn to go into Naughty Pub without giving any signal lights. The two ladies’ motorbike that followed at speed from the same direction couldn’t brake in time so crashed into him.

Statements were recorded and after the injured people recovers they will have to negotiate and make a deal.

warning rhetorical question .................

why do we have licences ?

And, again, no mention of traffic citations?

Dont you all think that Thais drive very badly? Especially the motorbikes, as if they are the true believers of nirvana. :o

Mr. Waleed and Miss Tarika suffered only minor injuries, however Mrs. Uraiwan

the driver of the second motorcycle required emergency treatment to

remove a lipstick which was deeply embedded up her left nostril. :o

Naka.
