Lost and confused woman raped near lake in Jomtien.

An unusual case of suspected rape now from Soi Chawian Resort in Jomtien. The victim, Khun Bumpen aged 26 from Surin Province had just arrived in Pattaya in search of a cousin and a job.

She arrived in the early hours of Friday Morning but lost her way. She met a Thai man on Jomtien Beach, thought to be aged around 30, who promised her work and a place to stay. She trusted the man who took her to a secluded lake.

As the pair past the lake, Khun Bumpen decided to take a bath as it was dark at the time. As the victim left the lake, the man jumped her and proceeded to sexually assault her. He then ran away, leaving his underwear at the scene.

The Police were alerted of the case and Khun Bumpen was taken to Dongtan Police Sub-Station on Jomtien Beach where she made a report of the incident. Polcie are now searching for the suspected rapist.

Khun Bumpen decided to take a bath as it was dark at the time. As the victim left the lake, the man jumped her and proceeded to sexually assault her. He then ran away, leaving his underwear at the scene.

What on earth possessed her to take a bath in the lake? Sounds like prehaps half the story?
