Council of State to be consulted on Ms. Pareena’s Sor Por Kor land case

The Royal Forest Department will seek advice from the Council of State on dealing with Palang Pracharat MP Pareena Kraikupt’s 109 hectares of Sor Por Kor land, because the department and the Agricultural Land Reform Office are unable to agree upon which of them should initiate legal action against the MP for alleged encroachment.

Occupation rights for the land, in Tambon Rang Bua, Chom Boeng district of Ratchaburi province, was transferred to Ms. Pareena in 2005-2006 by her father, former Ratchaburi MP Thavee Kraikupt, before the land was declared part of the Sor Por Kor (land reforms) in 2011.

Royal Forest Department director-general Atthapol Charoenchansa today (Monday) met with the department’s legal team and Ratchaburi forest officials concerning the land occupied by Ms. Pareena, part of which has been developed into a poultry farm.

Of course they unable to agree who should initiate legal proceedings against Pareena, as she is 1 of the in crowd.

No department wants to be seen as the bad guys, so they just keep pi++ing about, hoping the problem will go away.

I thought she had already returned the land already!?!?!?

Should both take action ,deserves twice the punishment because as a mp she should know better

But why do they wanna take legal action? A few members on here were saying she didn’t do anything wrong and it was just an oversight: just a massive 109-hectare oversight.

She is not the only one, they just can't help it and am sure they feel it is their right to take thieve and demand.

If you are a poor peasant picking mushroom in state own land you go straight to jail, but since you are on side with the pm you are defined as a good person and nothing bad will ever happen! This is the Thailand the pm want every thai to love!!
