Trump’s parade today
Just in case everyone forgets: right this minute, in the Middle East, WWIII is gaining traction and what happens next could ruin everyone's day if they're not careful. Netanyahu is doing his best to drag the US into the war, and I'm sure Trump is receiving non-stop encouragement from all the Neocons. And to top it all off, he maintains that Israel acted alone, and he's threatening retaliation the likes of which Iran has never seen if they dare to attack any American asserts in the area. And yet he's also suggesting that a deal could still resolve the matter. Maybe that's what he's after? A deal to short circuit the process and stop Israel. Otherwise, Iran can count on assistance from at least a few other countries, including Yemen, Pakistan, North Korea, and perhaps China. Turkey? Egypt? Supposedly, Iran was willing to make a good deal weeks ago, but Trump, or his negotiators, ignored it. Is Trump out of the loop? -
