hi'

as my wife got a "circulation" visa, no one asked for a return ticket ...

in any other visa, the ask you to show the return-flight ticket in order to get your passeport with the visa on.

now, what if, one present him/herself at counter, immigration and boarding with a single ticket, any possiblity that someone say a thing about it?

anyone knows about this?

I'm aware that most of us buy return ticket because we all come back ...

this time is a bit different ...

any help appreciated :o

thanks

Your problems are with the airlines Francois. Not with Thai Immigration.

Your problems are with the airlines Francois. Not with Thai Immigration.

do you mean that some airlines don't have any rules about it, or any airlines would check this?

I just worry that we could get problems once in the check-in line ...

so, I'll probably buy the return we booked earlier ... unless that someone tells me that "for sure" nothing is wrong with this ... :D

thanks

ps; I thought that this concern immigration to other countries?

am I wrong here ..? :o

Check the price ! Due to a change in my travel plans on one ocassion, i tried to buy a 1 way ticket to Amsterdam, it was much cheaper to buy a return ticket back to BKK.

Have a Happy...

If you have a valid visa in your passport the airline will let you board with a one-way ticket. If you are planing on getting a 'visa on arrival' they will want a return ticket.

The reasoning is that if you are refused your visa when you arrive in the country the airline has to pay to remove youy from that country.

This is not a Thialand specific issue, it is the same for any country. As Dr PP said, it is an airline thing not immigration, they don't want to have to pay to remove you from the coutntry.
