There is no such coordination. Objectively the democrats do have a number of competitive potential nominees for 2020. The basic issue is to go with safer/moderate or go for broke leftist populist. There are good arguments for either lane.

She did win the popular vote. She lost the Electorial college by a combined 77,000 votes. Good luck repeating that with 40% approval. Never has seen any positive approval rating. Just saying.

Polls have Trump up where it counts. PA, WI, MI, OH. If you use nationwide polls Trump is probably losing by more than last time. However it is those states I mentioned that decide the election. I live just over the border from PA and OH you should see everybody putting up their Christmas lights and Trump 2020 signs.

My response was to the United States electoral college that was written into the constitution in the late 1780's. The civil rights movement happened almost 180 years later. But political parties do change over time as what has become very apparent during the Trump presidency . If this was 46 years earlier like during the Nixon presidency Trump would be removed from office.

Nixon, Jackson and Clinton (unlike Trump) were all charged with crimes.

Watching the democrats debate last night. Which was full of laughable moments. It became clear every candidate on stage has given up on removal. Yang was spot on saying the dems are obsessed and need to get their heads on straight.

Before the “Great Society” and the left’s decimation of the black family blacks voted reliably Republican.

Trump’s approval rating with blacks is definable on the rise.

Most of them have heard the old reparations promise from the left before and may not fall for it again. But will all the “free” stuff the left promises and the way they are able to stir up racial animosity and class warfare you never know.

This headline is a bit misleading, and one poll should never be taken as gospel. If one were to look at an average of recent polls, it would show roughly more than half the US wants him gone, while slightly less than half wants him to stay. And, a large majority does want some kind of consequential sanction(s). Finally, this is a process that should not be guided by polling; it is a process that should follow the US Constitution.

The simple fact is that he tried to cheat in the upcoming American election by asking a foreign government for dirt on a likely political opponent and jeopardized American National Security by withholding funds previously and legally allocated by Congress. Further, he has not cooperated  in a constitutionally mandated process of Congressional Oversight; in fact he has illegally blocked that process.

If he is not removed, does anyone seriously think that he will not try again? Does anyone think that he has 'Learned his Lesson'?

I have said it before and sadly need to say it again;

Donald Trump is an ever-expanding cloud of toxic waste that defiles everything it touches.

Remove him and end the nightmare now!

There really are no good potentials at all. Warren , Biden , Bernie and The real Mayor ( of NYC) are all too old and will be insanely too old if they ever went 2 terms. The others nobody knows about and never will by March which is THE big month. Trump is too old too and seems to have some baggage ????.  Where is Oprah?  Why can’t the Dems have a great option by now? Three years in the making?

  • Popular Post

If the Dems spent as much time trying to find a moderate candidate under the age of 70 that doesn't sound too crazy as they do trying to impeach Trump they would be ahead of the game. Biden just struggles too much trying to sound coherent.

When Trump wins a second term don't blame the deplorables.

Where’s Jerry Brown? He’s gotta be kicking himself for not throwing his at in the ring...

Just when you thought there were no surprises left...

In the category of which "Americans want Trump ousted post-impeachment", here's one for the history books:

TRUMP'S OWN BASE!

SURPRISE!!!

https://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2019/december-web-only/trump-should-be-removed-from-office.html

Trump Should Be Removed from Office

the facts in this instance are unambiguous: The president of the United States attempted to use his political power to coerce a foreign leader to harass and discredit one of the president’s political opponents. That is not only a violation of the Constitution; more importantly, it is profoundly immoral.

What is Christianity Today Magazine?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christianity_Today

Christianity Today magazine is an  evangelical  Christian  periodical that was founded in 1956...The Washington Post calls Christianity Today, "evangelicalism's flagship magazine"...

...The founder, Billy Graham, stated that he wanted to "plant the evangelical flag in the middle-of-the-road...

Billy Graham? Who's that?

Isn't he the major Evangelical guy who helped turn the tide on the impeachment of Richard Nixon?

In linguistics and rhetoric, the historical present or historic present, also called dramatic present or narrative present, is the employment of the present tense when narrating past events....

... It is typically thought to heighten the dramatic force of the narrative by describing events as if they were still unfolding, and/or by foregrounding some events relative to others...

Otherwise thank you for checking up on me. I've zero issues with someone correcting me should I speak wrongly. This just doesn't happen to be one of those many times.

As Luke says in the bible: "Grammarian, correct thyself!"

what would be more interesting is a poll to see how many American's wanna get rid of the incompetent democrats... hehe...

there will be a Trump in the White House for at least another 12 years... The first female President? Maybe I should have said the next 20 years... Winning...

By who?  With the attorney general bought off, it will not be by anyone associated with the Justice Dept.  He has the Supreme Court in his pocket as well.  There three branches of gov't, and he has hold of 2.5 of them.

The military?  Much more likely.

And I look forward to seeing how the Secret Service will (physically) deal with it.

This I doubt very much.  States' rights is one of those passionately strong issues that dates back to the guys wearing wigs.  In these times still, from the legalizing of cannabis on one end to the other extreme of polygamy, and gun-toting patriots allowed to own military weapons.  I can see him doing a Thaksin, and doing a runner to Russia.

Thanks for your response, it's refreshing to have a conversation on this topic without the diversionary noise.

We also have had polls in the UK regarding political issues and elections ever since I can remember.

Not once have I nor anyone I know been asked to take part in one of these polls.

One poll a few years ago was reputed to have taken place in the offices of the BBC and another among the audience of Question Time, a BBC political and current affairs talk program in which the majority of the audience are selected for their liberal and left wing political leanings.

That'd be like asking the staff at CNN what they think of Trump.

The Brexit poll told us to expect a huge win for the remainers and at one stage book makers were making the odds 8 to 1 against our leaving the EU.

So polls are often unreliable and are conducted by those with an iron in the fire when it comes to the issue the poll is connected to.

If they're told the other side is odds on to win it's quite likely that some folk won't bother going out to the polling station to vote.

That's what the Remainers hoped regarding the EU referendum but it backfired on them and overwhelmingly so.

You really have to have a very distorted picture of America if you believe Trump wouldn't be removed.

Trump is history and will lose in November. The only thing he has won is LIAR OF THE YEAR for three years in a row. China is buying agricultural products! they have been for decades they only stopped because of Trump, so how is that an achievement. It will  now be difficult for him to cheat in the 2020 election like he did to get into power. Even after cheating he lost the popular vote.I must say one thing and that is Trump supporters believe everything he says even though his thoughts and convictions change daily if not hourly.

If he is not guilty why wont he let his staff and his records be interviewed by the inquiry  and now the Senate hearing.Trump himself is on the record as saying anyone who will not front up or hides records is guilty. For as a genius we have to believe what he says is true.

At least the fact that it is now universally understood across the board that there will be an election is a sign of progress. I think that would be okay if true. The fact that there is still no thread on the last dem debate speaks volumes about their chances.

That Trump loses and stages a coup and the entire US military backs it keeping him. in power? I like that bet so much we could play loser dies.

Allow me to clarify if Trump loses or is impeached doesn't leave of his own volition and isn't forced out you win. If that doesn't occur I win. Whoever loses leaves TV forever.

A post containing a derogatory racist comment toward black people has been removed.

Yeah, I pretty much believe that to be true also. It's too bad we are not offered a wider spectrum as far as candidates go.

If you vote for me I will pay for your loans for a $200,000 liberal arts degree in Japanese culture although you live in Omaha, Nebraska. I will also give you $1,000 a month while I tax the companies I am proposing to destroy. Deal?

If you look closely everything the dems espouse is carefully hidden right now they have no message or if they do it is less than nothing.

His message boiled is simple -- facts and truth don't matter (Putinesque) AND join my cult of personality of dark charisma and you'll feel better about yourself never mind that my policies are actually bad for most of you and disastrous for the future of American democracy (tailored to white males).
