VET in Pattaya

Featured Replies

Hello,

Somebody recomended me a few years back a vet who was located on Pattaya Tai, not very far from Sukhumvit, on the left, about 100 meters after secondary Big C access..

It is closed.. Anybody knows if he relocated somewhere ?

Otherwise, reco for a good vet ?

Merry Xmas

there is currently a vet clinic on kom ti din,

coming from 3rd rd its on the right hand perhaps

500 meters from 3rd rd, perhaps 100 meters after tigglebitties

Thank you, I know there are lots of vets and clinics around..

What I am looking for is a reco for a good vet by someone who already could check his capacity, as I already faced some issues with the one I used, till this guy who unfortunately disappeared recently

Thank you and have a nice day

You're referring to the excellent Dr. Komchai and the Pattaya Animal Clinic on Pattaya Tai. He closed that location and consolidated it with his larger facility, Banrai Animal Clinic, in Na Jomtien where he also provides specialized surgery and extensive boarding. It's a 15-minute ride south on Sukamkavit. 0850935954. Still excellent veterinary care.

Are you sure he closed the Pattaya Tai branch?

Was open the last time I passed.

Used to use this one a lot, when he had an excellent female Vet working for him, but when she left the place seemed to go downhill ..... I wish I could find out where she moved to.

As I have said before, I use Thong Lor now, and tell everyone to avoid Muang Ake (both on the Sukhumvit) who still spam call me, after my one visit which was enough for me.

Hello

Yes it is closed for a few months now (I think it closed about 6 months ago.) and yes the last times I went there mainly the last one in May I found the place was looking like a ghost place and not very clean, bad smell of animal urine..  Personnaly the 3 to 4 times he attended my little dog I was quite pleased with his diagnostic and treatment..  Muang Ake is no more an option for me in terms of vet, they have very poor professional veterinary level. I stopped using them after a bad experience 4 years ago..and even for grooming, missing basic skills (like protecting dog s ears to avoid water entrance and therefore infections, which happened twice to my dog)

Will go and check Dr Komchai s new facility

Have a nice day

I think its worth mentioning, if its cat advice you are looking for, try contacting https://www.facebook.com/pawsbangkok/

They were very helpful, and more honest than the pet clinics here in Pattaya when my cat was hit by a motorbike.

The money I saved was given to them as a donation.
