Came back from a recent trip to the U.S., and as usual, brought back a number of boxes of See's chocolates for treats at home and to give a couple here as Christmas/New Years gifts.  Been doing that now for a number of years...  Not saying they're the best chocolates in the world, but I like them a lot, and they're the special occasion chocolates I grew up with as a youngster and for my whole life in the U.S.

Which kind of raised the question -- Is there any other good/better way to acquire See's chocolates in Thailand that anyone knows?

See's does have shops in various other countries outside the U.S., but Thailand isn't one of them. And although Godiva and various others are here, I've never found any See's chocolates for sale anywhere in Thailand in my years here, not in stores or in any online source here.

I'm certainly OK to continue bringing them back on my periodic trips back to and from the U.S. Heck, they even have a See's chocolates kiosk in the international departures area at Los Angeles International Airport, and probably others as well.

But it would be nice to find a more local source for getting See's chocolates other than international air travel, or ordering from See's online in the U.S. and then having the chocolates re-shipped here, which certainly is possible, but does get a bit more expensive.

Thanks if anyone has any ideas.

Forum Shopping Mall, Orchard Rd, Singapore - which is a little bit closer.

Thanks!

From the See's store locator function on their website, they appear to have:

--three shops in Philippines-Manila (Mandaluyong City, Makati & Taguig)

--three shops in Taiwan (Taipei City)

--two shops in Singapore (including the other at Changi Airport!)

--two shops in Hong Kong

--one shop in South Korea (Seoul)

FWIW, I was hoping for something a bit closer or more convenient!  Of all of the above, a quick visit to Changi Airport (Terminal 2 departures area) in Singapore might be the best option.

Try these and you will never even think about your American chocolates anymore.

One of their shops is near Sukhumvit Soi 31. Delicious!

I think you're talking about Duc de Praslin shops at the retail level. I'd had and enjoyed their chocolates before... But maybe because I grew up with them, I prefer the various chocolates choices available from See's.

I had eggnog truffles and peanut butter chocolates, among others, from See's on my recent trip. There are American influenced flavors that are different than those that come out of European vendors.
