What were they shooting at? The rear passenger's knees? ????

I was wondering about that as well, it did not seem like a serious attempt to actually assassinate him... maybe a warning?

Only one errant shot slightly close to where the driver might be, none through the window (which would allow you to see the target if he was in there)...

So I suspect they also knew he was not in the car...

The car was being examined at RTP HQ by forensic teams.

How many teams needed to count 8 holes? Oh sorry forgot where we live.

And recover the bullets and cases, and test them for fingerprints and DNA, and trace fibres, and establish the make of gun, and.....oh what's the point.....

Five pages and no details? I remember something about him and Prawit being connected and something about corruption in Esarn. What's the connection. Any links to those stories. What is the hashtag to look for under twitter to the chat on this?

And how do they maintain this veneer of upright morality and propriety - by shooting at people's cars?

How does Big Joke do the same?

He was supposed to be at the top of his game, a leader in Thai society telling us all how to behave. Good guys in, bad guys out and all that.

Then the next thing his car is getting shot up in one of the low class areas of Bangkok, and what was he doing there? ' having a massage! ' in the renowned red light district.

Hardly classy and certainly not discreet.

He could have at least booked a decent hotel and ordered ' room service ' instead of this indiscretion in full view of the tourists and street hawkers of the Big Mango!

Police investigate shooting of Big Joke's car

Deputy Police Commissioner-General Pol General Virachai Songmetta on Tuesday (January 7) visited the crime scene where the car of Pol Lt-General Surachet Hakpal, special adviser at the Prime Minister’s Office, was shot at by two suspects on Monday evening.

The spot was at a massage spa in Bangkok’s Silom area. Surachet was getting a massage in the spa when the suspects fired at his car.

According to an inspection, Virachai said the suspects were two men wearing helmets and riding a motorcycle.

“One wore a cream jacket, jeans and white sneakers, while the other had a blue jacket, jeans and white sneakers,” he said.

The men rode into an alley near the crime scene before arriving back at the place and taking a minute to shoot eight times at the empty car.

The police estimated that after committing the crime, the suspects headed to Rama IV Road before taking the Sam Yan intersection.

“We are investigating the reason for their shooting,” Virachai added.

Officers of the Metropolitan Police in Bang Rak and Pathumwan districts have teamed up to investigate the case.

Virachai held a morning meeting at the Metropolitan Police Bureau, and will request Surachet to provide the police with evidence tomorrow (January 8).

There are a million motorcycles in Bangkok, but only one driver and one passenger with a helmet. Now they only need a police force to catch these 2 who will stand out like a flag on a tugboat.

All mafia wear helmets.

It seems like a warning, the question that arises again: what did you do Big Joke to make the fall you made and now for this?
We say that to be a good policeman you must first be an excellent criminal ... WHAT ARE YOU? WERE?
