Hard Drive Data Retrieval Service

Featured Replies

My friend has blown both his hard drives, but he's got a lot of data on there he wants to get off. He couldn't get much help in Hua Hin where he stays so brought it up to Bangkok to find help at Fortune Town. A guys got it at the moment but it looks like he might not be able to get the data out.

Does anyone know of any place/person that is known for a good hard drive data retrieval service?

Is he liable to get most of the data back?

Thanks. :o

I would also need one! only the small board is broken, mechanic is OK

Does the drive physically spin, or is it dead as in, won't power up?

on mine it could spin, it is only the pcb which is burned out.

I was asking about madness's drives actually. If the disks are just corrupted then there's a good chance to recover them, if they are physically damaged then it's another thing.

I've sent an SMS to a friend who used <?> to offer this service in Bangkok as part of their data 'silo' business. I say used to since in conversation with him a while ago he commented that HDD problems here were often caused by overheating or contamination which made recovery non-cost effective {from a user perspective}.

If they still offer service I'll PM, since I can't post links etc.

Regards

we can try to do it but the result depends on various things so it is on forehand quite difficult to forecast. Giving it a try is worthed and the result can be seen within 5 minutes. We are recovering a lot of data and sometimes clients with more than 160 GB! BKK/Raminthra
