GeorgeCross Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 in years to come students will look back on this as a case of what not to do when a global pandemic breaks out 2 1
Popular Post unamazedloso Posted February 1, 2020 Popular Post Posted February 1, 2020 how do you check facts when the facts are controlled by the government. News outlets only report what they are allowed to. Thats a fact! 8 1
TallGuyJohninBKK Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 It's not a fact until WE tell you it's' a FACT... If we don't tell you it's a FACT, then, you cannot believe it! That said, there's a ton of c**p "news" circulating on Thai FB and similar channels, as usual with any topic of public interest. 1
Benmart Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 From history, governments often do not tell the truth. It is obscured by political, economic and national interests. Thailand is no different. 2
spiekerjozef Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 "Panic is a sudden sensation of fear, which is so strong as to dominate or prevent reason and logical thinking" Logical thinking is not very common in Thailand. 1 1
justin case Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 oh, better do nothing, wait till a breakout and than eventually do as little as possible 1
Popular Post Dirk Z Posted February 1, 2020 Popular Post Posted February 1, 2020 I feel that wearing a helmet protects you more from dying in Thailand than wearing a mask. 3

In the absence of real figures & truth the populous will make up its own news! 1
Stargeezr Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 Of course, nobody has died from this virus outside of China, that would be a bad thing to happen, very, very bad. So if you are very sick, expect a quiet night ride to the nearest Chinese border, and a quick good bye, good luck, start walking talk. Geezer
scubascuba3 Posted February 1, 2020 Posted February 1, 2020 Kinda reminds me of Jaws, when the mayor of Amity Island says there is no shark problem, don't worry 1
