I don't think 45 will allow a fair election in 2020 and if he somehow manages to still lose, I can't see how he will willingly leave because leaving means he's subject to criminal conviction and imprisonment.

A coup (in a political sense over throws a leader from within their own party) or is what happens when the army comes out on the streets usurps the elected government, forces martial law generally then goes to elections after the system is rigged in their favour, recall any of that??

A senate enquiry to attempt to find facts, cannot be called an attempted coup.
