I am posting this information to assist anyone who is presently considering adopting a Thai child, but has not yet submitted their application.

 

The new procedures include a compulsory 2-day training course in Bangkok.

 

The course is to be held only once each year (this year it's 28 - 29 May). So, if you miss this one, you will have to wait another 12 months.

 

I have no idea yet what the course involves, but should receive some details in the next couple of weeks.

 

If you are already in the process you will probably receive an invitation soon.
