Marriage Visa - Wife Income Tax

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I dont work in Thailand I send money from my home country each month to myself. Much like everyone else for their marriage visa. My wife works and she has to do a tax return. It asks the income of your husband. Since I dont work in Thailand this becomes zero - right? What are the rest of your doing who has a working wife?

If you are not sending current income to Thailand=zero.

e.g. income from 2019 calendar year, transferred to Thailand in 2019, depends?

If you were transferring 2018 savings/ income, during 2019, yes = zero.

In Thailand more than 180 days from 1st Jan to 31st Dec, Depends?

If less than or = to 180days = zero, only earnings Etc. in Thailand taxed.
