National security adviser says there is no evidence Russia is interfering in US elections, Trump accuses Schiff of leaking intelligence about Russian interference  to hurt Sanders.

So Schiff leaked something that does not exist?

Hell, the whole Democrat party is after Bernie.  His way left socialist stance is hurting them really bad.

Dream on. The babies you were making are coming of age, and they ain't swallowing the socialist rhetoric <deleted> you spew. Corporate socialism is coming to an end, and it is long overdue. Millennials to the rescue. It doesn't take very long for demographics to change the political spectrum.

That alone ought to be very concerning for anyone who wants a Democratic candidate to beat Trump in November.

America "swings like a pendulum do" Somebody "doing it, in the middle of the road" probably wouldn't beat Trump. It's going to take a radical swing, and the young people have nothing to lose. They are <deleted> sick of corporate welfare.

If the front-runner was anyone other than Bernie, the Dems wouldn't be freakin out.  The fear is not only losing to Trump, but down ballot as well (i.e., losing the House/Senate).  The problem is that most Dems are not as far left as Bernie.  I myself--who likes Bernie as a person--was rather uncomfortable watching him make all sorts of campaign promises, almost all of which will cost huge bucks.  South Carolina will be key.  If Bernie wins there, his chances on Super Tuesday increases significantly.

You seem pretty level headed, can I ask you your age? Most times for positive change to happen it takes drastic measures. I really don't want to know your age, but is 4 more years of the political status quo going to change anything for the better?

When push comes to shove, young people mostly do not vote at all. I'll support Bernie if nominated, indeed I'll support Joe Blow down the block if nominated, but I don't see how he wins. Suburban white women aren't going to vote for him. Bernie has built an impressive coalition among progressive democratic party primary activists. That does not a presidency make. To add to that, he'll never get his promises passed even if he is miraculously elected. Meaning by nominating Bernie we're flushing the future of American democracy down the toilet and surrendering to an authoritarian narcissist that clearly thinks and acts as if he's above law for basically nothing. This is crazy time and there's only a little time to stop the Bernie electric streetcar of doom.

I think quite the opposite, I think with Bernie, democracy is in force I think  democracy is being subverted once again by the establishment. I am watching the news (CNN) right now, they are foaming at the mouth onet his Castro Comments. I actually watched the original interview and did not see anything wrong in what he said, Below is a video of what he said. I challenge you word for word to tell me where he said something wrong.

Also the Sanders were briefed about the Russian involvement in trying to help him over a month ago, do you think it is a coincidence that it was leaked  just before the Nevada primary?

I think the DNC is trying to give as another Hillary, The people seen it then and they will see it again, It is my opinion that if they continue in the path they are going they will insure another trump four years.

You seem pretty level headed, so I'll be honest with you:  I'll vote for any of the Democratic candidates over Trump.  Bernie is my last choice because I think he's the least likely to win the White House and the most likely to give the Republicans both the House and the Senate.  However if he's the Democratic nominee I will vote for him.

Now a question for you; will you vote for the Democratic nominee if it is anyone but Bernie?  If given a choice between an establishment Democratic candidate and a Republican wrecking the checks and balances that keep a democracy from sliding into dictatorship, will you grit your teeth and vote for the lesser of the two evils?  Or will you sit out the election and let Trump be re-elected?

Don't start a conspiracy theory, that's the Republican's thing.

Our Republic has an Electoral college. The popular vote has not always produced the winner.

Thank goodness for that else the liberals in California and NY (and a couple of other states) would be determining every President and the common guy from the Midwest wouldn't even have a say in the matter. Thank goodness the Founding Fathers were wise enough to consider things like this.

Let's just say there's a good reason for him to be using adult diapers with all the "leaking" issues. Not saying he is. That's classified.

You have to be able to see things from other people's perspective.  In Florida, for example, the large Cuban contingent sees Castro the way Jews see Hitler.  Imagine a politician saying "Well Hitler did provide great healthcare for his people."  Will not go over well.

Bernie is authentic , he  does not pander, it is a big part of his appeal.

The Cubans consist 6% of the florida population, and vote overwhelmingly Republican. If they don't like the truth  they have a champion in trump.

The issue is not that Schiff leaked the information, There is ZERO evidence that Schiff leaked the information. The issue is that trump on one hand claims the information does not exist and on the other hand claims that Schiff leaked the information.

If the information did not exist then what was classified?

One dirty trickster was just convicted, do you think he is the only one,or that the republicans have exclusive rights to dirty tricks? During the 2016 election I said " I hope trump jumps off the Empire state building and lands on Hillary , that way we kill two birds with one stone".

I lived in Miami for 3 years. Sadly, what once was Little Havana, can now more appropriately be called Little Guatamala or Little Honduras. All the result of illegal immigration. And because current U.S. law which allows a child of illegal aliens born in the USA is a Citizen, the voting demographic is rapidly changing in several states. Short of a massive move right of blacks and Hispanics, in a couple more election cycles the Left will establish a statistically undefeatable Super majority. That would signal dark times. Estimate of illegal aliens in USA is 20,000,000.

But your lord and savior Bernie Believes in Globalism.....so there will be absolutely nothing to stop all those massive corporations you hate moving overseas paying super cheap labor costs and then selling to america for full price making them even more profits at the cost of American jobs....with his 60% exit tax if he wins, Most Billionaires will be gone before he even takes office.....

Bernie Sanders is a globalist? Seriously? Perhaps in the simplistic  sense of the global far right wing attacks on Jewish people by constantly using the name of George Soros and 'globalist' as an obvious code word to express antisemitism and  global Jewish control conspiracy theories.

Now some reality --

You will see how popular Bernie is with Jews if he faces Trump in the general election, Sanders would be the most Anti-Israel President in US history.

Ok, you overlooked the point of my post.

The most obvious explanation of the timing of the release of the information that Russia is promoting the candidacy of Bernie Sanders is that someone, for reasons now unknown, chose to release the information.  The reasons for the release, and timing of the release, are unknown at this time.  However I think it unlikely that it is part or a high level DNC plot against Bernie Sanders.

If you have evidence that my assumption is wrong, please provide it.  If you are speculating, please say so.

Yes, Bernie has many admirable powers.  Speaking truth to power is one of them.  Actually getting things done is not.

Florida is a delicately balanced swing that.  It is the third most populous state in the US.

I am fifth generation Floridan.  Long ago I worked with a refugee of Castro's Cuba.  His hatred of Castro and what he and his family lost can not be described.  The children and grandchildren of him and those like him are now voting.  Do you think the stories of their grandparents are not a factor?  Hint:  I know the stories of my great-great-grandfather who fled the law and brought my family to Florida.

6% of the most critical swing state in the US is HUGE!

Demographics? Yeah, 20,000,000 illegal aliens, do have babies, and they are instant U.S. citizens who grow up to vote with great effect unfortunately. See California. Once a bastion of conservative strength, now gone forever to decay. A dystopia. In one generation!

Wow! And I do mean Wow!

Maybe I'm from a similar background as you.  I have proper redneck cred.  I'm the descendant of a crippled Civil War vet who fled South Carolina because people wanted to kill him (different stories about why).  I have family stories of gamblers and moonshiners and smugglers...and these were the respectable stories.  I remember my grandmother, as fine a person as anyone could claim to be related to, quietly  whispering to me that she was part Irish.  In her time that was a shameful thing.

I have also met the Billy Carter definition of being a redneck (look it up).

I've also cropped the sandluggers in a tobacco field (not sure if the internet will help you with that one), wrestled large appliances onto trucks in the seventies with the help of a Castro refugee, and done really dirty jobs in a pulp wood mill (ever pushed a shovel in a lime kiln while the dust ate wholes in your skin?) with a mixed race, mostly black, work crew.

I judge people as individuals, not by skin colors and by place of origin. There is nothing ethnic about the American dream.

BTW; I respect those people who ignore borders in order to do hard stoop field labor under a hot sun in order to earn honest money.  I'd rather go back to the lime kiln than the tobacco fields.
