3 Year Non Immigrant Visa

I do not remember hearing anything about a 3 year non immigrant visa before. THey say you cannot stay longer than 90 days. Does that mean you could do a visa run and come right back in or are you required to leave the country for a specified time before re-entry?

Does anyone have this visa and consider thailand to be their permanent residence?

This type of visa is for businessmen who make frequent trips to Thailand and is not issued to most (only available from Thai manned Consulates/Embassies after careful examination from accounts). Very few have been issued as far as we know. It only allows a 90 day stay so the same as a normal multi entry non immigrant B visa but instead of having to obtain every year there is a three year validity. Not something you obtain in an Honorary Consulate setting.

Look at the APEC card.

Not sure if Canada is a signatury, but the 19 economies who are can get an effective 3 year 90 day business visa. Other bennefits include a special line at immigration, the short one for the flight crew :o This is available in all of the countries that have signed up. www.businessmobility.org (I think)
