Former Future Forward MP tells police she has been threatened

Former Future Forward MP Benja Saengchan lodged a complaint with Bang Po police today, claiming that she was intimidated after she leaked a telephone conversation about cash rewards, of as much as 23 million baht, being offered for the defection of each of the MPs from the now dissolved party.

After her exposure of the alleged bribes on Monday, she claimed that one MP, whom she did not identify, approached her in parliament at about noon, telling her that a man had warned her to be careful because of her whistle-blowing.

Additionally, she told the police that another unidentified government MP had warned her to be careful.  Later today, she claims to have received yet another threat and then decided to file a complaint with the police.

Very nice of these other MPs warning her that they'd heard of or were aware of warnings.  (Yeah, right.)  Are they the messengers or do they actually give a darn about her?

It's so obvious and patently slimy, but normal.  Sad.

There is obviously no low that Thai politicians wont slump to. Lets face it, everyone who is reading this report will believe her, money being the only apparent reason for joining a party with no similarities to the one that's been dissolved. So much for ridding us of the corrupt and bringing military traditions into govt.

How do you know that she hasn't got proof of her accusations?

i didn't know the flying squad was based in Thailand

They certainly are and their favourite transport is the pig.

This is why they are rarely seen in action in Thailand.
