Surely this must be something to do with the translation as it looks like it was written by a 8 year old who is having trouble comprehending the subject and grasping blindly.....he cannot be that dense can he,  oh hang on a minute....

He advised people to use fabric masks instead of medical masks, which have been inadequate recently.

This is my favourite especially the "recently" bit, meaning they were adequate when he was having them out but recently they have become inadequate. The man is no longer using a shovel to dig his hole he is laying down blast patterns mining style.Something I'm intimately familiar with.

the most worrying data I have seen yet (another post on TVF) was the sudden increase recently in Thailand of what they called Viral Pneumonia, it had gone from almost zero to thousands (of known cases) in a few weeks - have all these been tested for Covid-19 or are they just sent home and told to isolate themselves ?

Prime Minister and Defence Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha will announce an integration plan to tackle the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus, Deputy Prime Minister and Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said today (March 2).

Announcing an announcement that is going to be announced.   Is it me, or has the reporting Since the beginning of 2020 been watered down ?

cha cha waves his hand in the most majestic manner only nothing happens that is good for Thailand.   He is good at majestic hand waving.  Probably locks himself in a room on Saturday afternoons to practice, along with play with matches.

His only economic trick is giving away money and the EEC.

Hope the announcement goes well.   ????

For the "feel good, just a flu, only 80 years old" brigade.

A very interesting article about... survivors.

Keyword for the readers : humility. Common sense. Doubt. Homework....

The situation with Covid-19 in Thailand is not tracking.  Thailand was among the first countries in Asia (after China) to see a jump in infections.  The path of the virus has not followed what we see in Japan, Italy and Iran where the rate of new infection accelerates as new cases are identified.  Is news on the numbers being suppressed?  Does Thailand have a much larger percent of non-symptomatic cases?  Are people not coming forward to be tested due to cost and/or fear of being stigmatized?
