Anutin said people should eat cooked food and wash their hands regularly to keep Covid-19 at bay. He advised people to use fabric masks instead of medical masks, which have been inadequate recently. “If numerous people use fabric masks, hoarders would release medical masks to the market later,” he said. He is good at majestic hand waving. Probably locks himself in a room on Saturday afternoons to practice, along with play with matches. His only economic trick is giving away money and the EEC. Thailand was among the first countries in Asia (after China) to see a jump in infections. The path of the virus has not followed what we see in Japan, Italy and Iran where the rate of new infection accelerates as new cases are identified. Is news on the numbers being suppressed? Does Thailand have a much larger percent of non-symptomatic cases? Are people not coming forward to be tested due to cost and/or fear of being stigmatized?
