PM orders measures to deal with virus crisis

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has ordered measures to handle the Covid-19 outbreak and ease the impacts from the virus, government spokesperson Narumon Pinyosinwat said.

 

Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak and Finance Minister Uttama Savanayana were tasked with administering the measures and proposing it to the Cabinet.

 

The measures will include information gathering and communicating it to the public in order to increase people's confidence in the government’s management of the coronavirus crisis.

 

It will also cover measures dealing with taxation, credit, debt, the national budget, employment and local agricultural products.

according to the Thai health Minister there have been 43 cases and of those only 11 remain infected - and that covers the last 8 weeks

The reason the "measures" are largely undisclosed, is most likely because right now, they are probably largely unknown. Privately praying for a miracle a lot, making merit, buying amulets and coming up with half believable stories for the public probably make up much of the current strategy, and likely will remain so until they see how deep in the doodoo they are.

Let me see. Past measures include:

 

1. Spreading the borders wide open and laying the red carpet for the Chinese.

2. Telling the public everything is under control 100% (when it is not).

3. Mask on.

4. Mask off.

 

Yup it'll work. The people will have full confidence in the government's management of the crisis, the way people going to a circus have full confidence some bumbling clowns will generate a laugh or two.

Watched some news and vaccine has been found in US in 3 hours after receiving the sequence of the virus from chinese . It is DNA based vaccine , undergoing testing now with no side effects or any problems . According to the news , it could be available to the public by summer, so 2-3 months

If spewed generalities were only Baht, the Thai government coffers would be like that of Macao or Singapore, massively over flowing.  Student councils are better run than this government.   Perhaps if they were to focuses more on vitamins and less masks, there would be less fear and less hot air generated by the junta.   Your immune system can save your life.
