Ipod Backup

Featured Replies

Anybody know of a utility (preferably freeware) that will back up an iPod's entire contents (I'm using a 4G pre-photo model) and preserve the folder structure? I've tried CopyPod and it literally just copies all 10,000 songs that I have and dumps them clumsily in the same folder. I want the songs in separate folders with their appropriate album titles. I've tried a few others that have trial versions available but they'll only copy 100 songs or so and then require you to pay and register.

Anything that I might be able to get as a torrent would be useful.

Sorry this topic is not really related to technology in Thailand other than it's a technological issue I've got and I'm living in Thailand :o . Mods feel free to delete if it's an inappropriate thread.

Why dont you just use itunes to make a copy of your ipod files. If you get the latedt version and enable disk mode then you can drag the entire contents of your ipod to your itunes music folder and you will have a backup.
