Bangkok: Bang Kruay man slain in hail of bullets after girlfriend pulled from car

Bang Sri Muang, Nonthaburi police were called to Ratchapreuk Road after a shooting.

 

It appears to be a revenge assassination after a fight occurred late last year. 

 

Dead next to a Mazda 2 car was 27 year old Bang Kruay man Phattrachai Thatthiam. He was hit by 11 bullets in the head, neck and other parts of his body.

 

The door of the car had five bullet holes and there were shell casings from a 9mm gun and two .38 guns on the ground. 

 

The victim's girlfriend Sasina, 22, said she had just been picked up from a restaurant and got into the car before two men known to her as "Nai Benz" and "Bangja" got out of a black Honda Freed. 

 

She was pulled from the car via the front passenger door then her boyfriend was executed before the assailants fled. 

 

She said this stemmed from a fight her boyfriend had in Bang Yai in November. He had been watching his back since.

 

The victim's father Therttom50, said that some while back seven or eight cars had pulled up at the family's motorcycle repair yard wanting to see his son. 

 

They warned him that if he didn't face them he would be shot. They clearly saved his girlfriend from being struck by ricochets before killing his son. 

 

Daily News reported that the police are fully aware of who was responsible.

All the information the police need is in the girlfriend's statement. Seems easy to solve.
