I looked through my standard Aetna Platinum policy and seems there is no exclusion for Corona virus. In other words getting the virus and being hospitalized in Thailand is covered.

 

Am I correct or not?

My policy is standard form and similar to thousands of others. But anyway rather than ask here I wrote direct to Aetna and my reading of my policy is correct and they have replied by email, namely:

 

"we will provide the coverage for COVID19 same as the others illness under your benefit and the condition of the policy "
