Notice he is the only one wearing a mask.

????

He didn't have enough off-cuts from his shirt to do for all his mates (both of them).

Still, consolation: they can always use folded-up bogroll. Would work just as well.

Will he have a new silk facemask everyday as silk is difficult to wash.
At least we can't see his face now.

I hate this grinny face as much as I hate the C. virus.

Absolutely brilliant....and truly a fashion coup. Everyone in Thailand should follow the stylish general’s inspired leadership and order matching face masks for all of their custom-made Doctor Evil outfits. No reason to let an end-of-the-world pandemic detract from the county’s cutting edge sense of doomsday fashion.

Video conferencing ?

This is Thailand. They will figure that out in about ten years.

Well at least that is an improvement from past weeks , most noticeably last Monday morning where I watched a TV article of the 'government' in action.

There must have been at least 50-60 officials, including Mr. Prayut in the short clip I watch while they presided over some matter or another from the weekend.

Not one of them was wearing a mask!

Maybe the exulted leader wants to get the virus,  besides the N95 mask is not very

stylish. I see many fancy looking masks, so is this the new niche market?

Geezer

Almost like kids in the school playground:

Kid 1: My mask's better than your mask!

Kid 2: Don't care. Mine is more expensive than yours!

Kid 1: Right, that's it! You've got a fight here after school.

Louis Vuitton masks will be on sale at the local markets now...

If it carries on for months: Guy Fawkes masks on sale here.

Thai traditional pattern as his shirt, signalling the mask was made from cloth left over after making the shirt.

I bet that cost more than 2.5 baht?

This guys good most Generals will only have the last one hired take off their mask to make sure it's clear. His mask will do nothing same as my cute 20 Baht cloth one with cute little eyes and a mouth I get complements the women love it.

It is made worse by the huge social stigma now of not wearing a mask in public, despite their known limited effectiveness. So people are reusing - even laundering - disposable masks, against all medical advice. Widespread mask-wearing is fine IF there is sufficient supply.

People queue to buy face masks in front of Villa Market at Soi Ari. People are understandably concerned but going forward authorities need to find a better way to organize mask distribution than this. Good examples from Taiwan, SKorea, Singapore. #COVID19 https://twitter.com/muenue/status/1240097215181246464
