They have kava.

Kava is a beverage or extract that is made from Piper methysticum, a plant native to the western Pacific islands. The name "kava" comes from the Polynesian word "awa," which means bitter. In the South Pacific, kava is a popular social drink, similar to alcohol in Western societies.

It looks like this on a good day, and it really does (nicely) mess with your mind... This was the version made in Pohnpei, Micronesia, which I guzzled a few years ago.

How does it taste? Like a rich psuedo chocolaty beverage, or like dirt mixed with water?

Why talk constantly about yourself, there are other subjects...

I already made it clear I was:

"our totally repulsive foulness"

So your lame and infantile attempt to insult me didnt quite make it. Nice try though.

How can you be so certain civilization will come to an end?

We survived two world wars you know.

I tried this once on an island in the Caribbean. The problem, those islands are really small. It gets boring after two years.

No more hitting the road for Jack, because Jack is back is back...

Drunks from anywhere are just an embarrassment! I am ashamed many are from my country!

Many junkies and idiots are also from your country. How can you feel ashamed for them?

Nauru.

Nauru? Isn't that where they scraped all the bird s##t off for fertilizer, then got delusions of grandeur with an airline and hotels? That still has illegal immigrants to Oz in detention? Interesting choice.

Everyone different here as I see it, there are many different ways for people to choose how to live here too.

Remember a UK friend finding me on facebook and saying he lived in Thailand for 4 years but he when home because Pattaya was not the same, he hadn't been anywhere else. ????

See this time and again on the forum that people make life changing decisions based on the opinion of their experience of a few square Kilometers of an entire country ! Amazing.????????

Yeah I find it kinda sad really,  I've been all over Thailand as such in 15 years but there is still many more places off main routes for me to explore.

i think you are doing a horrible mistake when you attempt to live without 24/7 electricity,
it is as rotten as it ever gets, no small wonder people didnt have the willpower to live past age 40
before electricity was provided. hope you have the means to commit a nice suicide

Neo: Choice. The problem is choice.

The Architect: Hope, it is the quintessential human delusion, simultaneously the source of your greatest strength, and your greatest weakness.

but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
