I'm living in Lao and plan a shopping trip to BKK soon.

Was wondering what size Hard drives are available now and at what price, in Panthip Plaza for example.

My 200GB drive is now full of music, I need more capacity. Are there any 500GB or higher capacity drives available?

Any ideas on price?

Do you need the older IDE (big flat parallel cable) type or the SATA (small cable) type?

The older IDE ones seem to top out at 300GB e.g. the Western Digital 3200JB 320GB ATA 100 7200 RPM 8 MB Buffer Ultra ATA/100 at around 3400 Baht

In the SATA models 500GB is available e.g. the Western Digital 5000AA KS 500GB SATA300 7200RPM 16MB BUFSATA at around 6000 Baht...
