regal Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 I'm needing to get a proof of address document from Thai Immigration in order to register a vehicle. What documents do I need to provide besides a big smile? I have the passbook on the property (house) I live in my Thai partners name and of-course a valid (tourist visa) and passport. Thanks for your help!
ajahnlau Posted June 9, 2004 Posted June 9, 2004 The law says you must have a non-imm. visa to reg. veh. in your name. Some smaller reg. offices might overlook this but doubt BKK and larger centres would. With vehicle in your name what about dri. lic? Also need non-imm visa for this. If ever in big accident your insurer could find a way out of respnsibility.
