Just a heads up for anyone needing to exchange money for Thai Baht.

This morning I checked two or three different exchange booths in Chaweng. Most offering 34.04THB for 1GBP.

 

But there is one that I came across on Sunday called Value+. Only one branch on Samui. 

It is right next door to Tai by Red Snapper Restaurant on the beach road, opposite a Family Mart. They were offering 38.06THB for 1GBP.

 

Quite a big difference.

Yes I know. I normally try and wait until I have to go to BKK and then visit SuperRich, but that is a no no at the moment. 

I also think that with the banks no longer doing forex here, there is less competition so some exchangers are trying to take advantage.
