Stay away from Pattaya imigration

Went around 8.30 this morning to do my 90 day report. Insane amount of people.

2 Tent outside and packed with people , hard to say how many but 100-200 ppl

and all close together in this 2 tent. I turn around and left as I not feel I want get the virus.

And yes I tested first to use the online app they have but as always that <deleted> did not

work. Stay away if you can or use a agent to do you things you need to have done.

PS! This is not a complaint about the great immigration staff that have to deal with this mess

I used my agent the other day, seamless, 5 minutes drop off, pick up next day

This is exactly what I went through there on Monday. The tent, the heat, the hundreds of others in the closest proximity... Social distancing for farangs Thai immigration style.

UK. All visas extended. Automatic. Till end of June. Problems solved.

Astounding! The level of unpreparedness is astounding. Just do what the Philippines did and defer until this covid issue has been resolved.

Not automatic, you have to apply, and it's until the end of may.

It always seems as though Pattaya agent services are more 'out and about' and easily accessible compared to in Bangkok..

One option is to not do a 90 day report. 

Eventually when you do on in few months time you will be fined 2000baht.

Have tried the app several times and it doesn't work for me. Used to do it by post but last time didn't receive the new slip, so had to go to the office anyway. Have just posted my guff for this 90, so hope more successful this time. You see, some people try to make simple simple, but Thai Immigration doesn't always conform, so don't be so quick to condemn your fellow foreigners.

500 baht is usual for a days work, not 5 minutes!

It's a 90 day report. Zillion do online or mail. Your next step would be use an agent. Not rocket science.

why should one pay 2k to the coffers of Immigration, when all they have to do is give ALL PEOPLE a PERIOD of GRACE  during these testing times for everyone.... but no we are in Thailand !!!

As stated earlier....90 day report has online and mail option. If that's too difficult then he can attend immigration or pay agent.

That's 4 options.

I did my 90-day report yesterday. Yes 150-200 people was waiting. But not for 90-day report. Separate line, less than 15 minutes waitning time. The officer asked me "You happy with management and waitning time". My answer: "Yes, very".

I can't say for certain about the elite Visa but I can't tell you that I did an OA extension with that agent no problem super simple 12500b

Why the headline stay away from Pattaya Immigration when foreigners are the problem?

 

  I'd reckon to go there very early and you might be successful.
