Back to topic. Are Canadian folk able to obtain the golden letter for 30 day extension?

Was at embassy yesterday me and other. Filled out papers for it. Then we were told ... wait for email with response if approved. 36hrs later and still waiting. It's like this with other people i've spoken to. Seems that the embassy is asking for various documents and proof in order to give you that silly letter in order to extend 30 days.

  • They said that back in January and it did not happen. They may wave a few days of overstay due to people having problems to apply for the extensions. I think there will be bigger news coming
