Man badly beaten after visit to Karaoke Bar.

In the early hours of Tuesday Morning, Police Major Supachai from Banglamung Police Station was called to a small Soi near the Water Treatment Plant in North Pattaya after reports of a badly beaten man lying in the street was received.

At the scene, rescue workers dealt with Khun Tanagit aged 20 who had sustained head and upper body injuries. The victim’s friend, who managed to escape a beating himself, later explained to Police that the two men had gone to a local Karaoke Bar earlier that night.

When they left the bar and began their journey home, two men attempted to prevent them from leaving on their motorbike and produced planks of wood.

Khun Tanagit could not escape and was badly beaten by the two unknown assailants. No motives for the attack were forthcoming from the victim’s friend and Police are waiting for Khun Tanagit to fully recover before they question him. Police suspect a problem inside the bar was the most likely reason behind the attack.

Thais and alcohol do not mix, a bit like water and oil.
