PHUKET: Phuket International Airport General Manager Thanee Chuangchoo is urging all foreigners wanting to leave the island before the airport shuts down on April 10 to contact their embassies and make travel arrangements urgently.

PHUKET:-- Police have set up checkpoints on the three main roads into Patong to ensure that all people diving into Patong are wearing face masks – or they will be refused entry to the town.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's new package of economic measures to mitigate the impact of the coronavirus outbreak will be worth about 10% of its gross domestic product (GDP), Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak said on Friday.
