Feel your pain...ouch!  Could not happen at a worse time with everyone's focus on avoiding the virus...

Have you tried throwing yourself on the mercy of a hospital emergency room?

Maybe they could at least mitigate the pain until help arrives...

Good Luck!

There is a clinic, at the start of 2nd Road in Jomtien, Chanya clinic...old lady been there years...whether she can help or not don't know, but its local and I think she's open 8am...worth a visit..take the meds with you so she knows what you've had...

OP hasn't responded in a while. Hope this is because he's in medical care. What he says sounds like he should be on a hospital bed with antibiotics and painkillers being administered IV.

Abscesses are not to be fooled around with. The infection can get into the bloodstream and wreak havoc.

Quit messing about with TV forum. You need to see a kidney doctor ASAP, who should be able to get you into a dental facility who can either drain the abscess via the tooth or from the gum. You will still need antibiotics and your kidney doctor should be the one advising. The emergency room is the next option.

If you don't have a kidney doctor here, go to the hospital and ask to see one today. I did a walk in at Bumrungrad 8 years ago and the doctor saw me within an hour (first class care).  I just walked up to the reception and ask for the type of Doc that I needed (a nephrologist).  I don't take any antibiotics without my kidney doctors advice.

Good luck!!

OP: you have been advised since your prior thread to go to a Hospital ED. (Emergency Dept). Don't call for an appointment or ask for a particular type of doctor. Go to the ER. And be sure to mention your kidney disease and dark urine.

Follow this advice.

Hope the Op is ok.

subject a bit close to home so I,ll ask.

If your morning urine is a very deep orange, but however the next urination is nearly clear normal hue and the subsequent course of the day urination pale yellow normal etc ..... but last before sleep sometimes deeper colour.

I am thinking this is hydration issues although i drink at least  4/5 litres of water each day but extremely hot house without ac.

type 2 diabetic but morning blood sugar checks 6.5 to 7.7 average not so high.

However experiencing some persistent back pain as well, but that could be skeletal muscular.

Some first mornings ok normal deep yellow, but many times recently this very alarming deep orange.......

I do take vit c and vit b 12 neurobin supplements.

is their a home kidney function check or hospital only.

thanks for any input

Morning urine is naturally more concentrated so will have more color

Neurobin can discolor urine, turning it a reddish sort of color from the 12 that is probably what you are seeing

Thanks Sheyrl, its b1,b6,b12 tablet Neurobin 3 tablets a day.

The colour is an extreme deep orange hint of brown, but couple of hours later after lots of water a normal clearish/yellow/green.

So I am assuming if its only the morning pee and sometimes the last at night it likely Kidneys are ok?,

could be as you say the vit b, or the many variables delights associated with diabetes blood sugar etc.

Thanks

The B12 in the Neurobin will produce exactly this .

If you want to be certain your kidney function is OK a simple blood test will suffice, serum creatnine. Any lab can do it. If you have had a complete physical check up in past year it will already have been checked.

No, ive been drinking plenty of water.  I think the reason my kidneys took a hit is because of the amount antibiotics i took in short period time, different pharmacies giving me wrong meds per usual. Dentist has me on new ones now. Pain away for now, abscess down, fearfull it will return...infection in 2 teeth shown on xray...so im cleaning properly and rinse 5 times per day with listerine especially after eating

Glad you're doing better. Horrible to be ill during this C-19 period. If your abscess is improving the pain should stay away.

Re Listerine the only good one is the Original variety with the sting. They have all these other, gum care, mint, etc, which are hardly any good.

If there is active decay causing a problem...you need to get at the root of the problem because in time the antibiotics will become ineffective and even run the risk of encouraging development of resistant bacteria. Don't delay
