In a televised speech on Friday (April 10), Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha called on all citizens to refrain from celebrating Songkran, cancel their trips back home and avoid all gatherings during the three-day festival, which kicks off on April 13.

GENEVA/ZURICH (Reuters) - The World Health Organization (WHO) warned countries on Friday to be cautious about lifting restrictions introduced to curb the spread of the new coronavirus and voiced alarm it was taking hold in Africa.

(Reuters) - Apple Inc <AAPL.O> and Alphabet Inc's <GOOGL.O> Google said on Friday that they will work together to create contact tracing technology that aims to slow the spread of the coronavirus by allowing users to opt into logging other phones they have been near.

Phuket Governor bans sale of alcohol ‘until further notice’

Hot weather with intermittent thundershowers forecast for upper Thailand

Samui tourists given a warning: Watch out for jellyfish on the beaches

Krabi to offer daily allowance to Covid-19 patients who reported their symptoms to officials
