Why they will compensate Wetern countries who are repsonsible for this panedmic due to incompetacies of their leaders and arrogancies of their people as they mostly suffer from Dunning-Kruger syndrome. What about South Korea, Taiwan, and to some extent Signapore and Japan who could contain it but no Western countries now want compensation for their leaders incompetancies and their people like Tom (truck driver), Dick (plumber), and Harry (brick layer)'s arrogancies as Tom, Dick and Harry keep on flaunting restrictions like wearing masks, avoid gatherings, going to condo swiming pool, not obeying social distancing, drinking beer in groups and on and on and on it went all night.

Tom Dick and Harry should have ORDERED to wear mouthmasks by Quintin, Floris and Charles!

Why???

3000 (allegedly died) out of 1.4 billion

That's a death rate of 0.000002142857

No country goes into crisis mode on those lies!

Never allowed any foreign assistance either , just lies and more lies

Please don't confuse your opinion with facts.

So we shall be doomed to suffer the same fate time and time again due to this very reason.

It's so sad, Charlie.

Humanity will never progress if we never learn from our mistakes.

Some wise person once  said, I am paraphrasing here

Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

Did the people who started the WW 1 & 2 pay compensation, let alone the other wars that destroyed countries and their innocent people?

Yes, we are doomed forever and will be blaming each other without putting our own backyard together. Yes, it is indeed a shameful thing.

Some people need to blame.

Rather than accepting their own failures and reflecting on what lessons may be applied for better outcomes in future similar circumstances.

Can the UK learn from this ?

Can American learn from this?

Can Italy learn from it?

Can Australia learn from it?

Can Thailand learn from it?

If the answer is a resounding yes, then the next question is :

What lessons have we learned?

Then

How do we improve the situation and future proof the country and the people.?

Do you remember the days before the internet when nobody was responsible for the spread of the flu and it was just accepted as a normal thing that happened?

Were lesson learned from the Spainish flu

Polio epidemics

TB outbreaks

Ebola outbreaks

Yes and they improve health outcomes over a period of time

One perspective, is that if the disease had only affected China, that would put them at an economic disadvantage.  It was much better, from that perspective, if the whole world was infected.  Was that considered?  Who knows.

Sure, that's why they imposed a lockdown on 28 January.
