The ban on the sale of alcoholic beverages has been extended to April 30 in Rayong as part of a move to stem the spread of Covid-19, deputy provincial governor Piroon Hemarak said on Wednesday (April 15). The ban was originally scheduled to be lifted on Wednesday.

The province has also banned the entry of fishing boats from other parts of the country, unless there is an emergency such as accident or engine failure.

Piroon said the province is evaluating the situation on a day-to-day basis to seek ways of easing problems faced by local residents.

As of Wednesday, Rayong had six confirmed cases of Covid-19 infection, though five have fully recovered while one is on the way to full recovery, the provincial public health officer Dr Suntorn Rianbhumkarakit said.

Bastards.

There goes my reason for going to Rayong tomorrow. Hope Ayuttaya doesn't follow suit on Friday.

I guess I won't be going to Lotus today, mom and pop stores are going to be busy, hope they stocked up

Bug ger,  delay that trip from Chonburi....

This is why I and many other people stocked up. We knew that the ban from April 10 to 20 was BS and that they would extend it.
