Yes, I agree that Nancy Pelosi was responding to Trump. It was pretty obvious.

The post I replied to was stating:"We both know that the left wing establishment were having convulsions at the mere mention of closing the borders remember? Remember when they were coming out with the usual xenophobic .. racist .. and any other buzz word they could force out of their offended pipe holes"

Is that all you can come up with? Pathetic....

Your aguement gets picked apart again. It’s no fun playing with you. Stop watching MSM

So where are the quotes from Dems criticizing the China travel restrictions? None? That's what I sought.

Google is your friend . Of course you will rubbish the source .

Within hours of President Trump'sdecision to restrict travel from China on Jan. 31, top Democrats and media figures immediately derided the move as unnecessary and xenophobic -- and they are now beating a hasty retreat from that position as the coronavirus continues to ravage the economy and cause scores of deaths.

Democratic presidential contender Joe Biden led the way, quickly attacking what he called Trump's "record of hysteria, xenophobia and fear-mongering" after the travel restrictions were announced, and arguing that Trump "is the worst possible person to lead our country through a global health emergency." Biden, on Wednesday, didn't criticize the travel ban in any way, and instead accused Trump of "downplaying" the virus early on in remarks to Fox News.

What do you suppose Nancy Pelosi was responding to when she told everyone to come to Chinatown in late February?

Lame attempt. So, according to you, Pelosi waited nearly one month to criticize a decision to institute China travel restrictions made on January 31? A decision she never criticized before? And without mentioning it? ????????

Your denial is noted. But here's more- this time from New York City (emphasis added):

"Councilman Mark D. Levine stated on Twitter, “In powerful show of defiance of coronavirus scare, huge crowds gathering in NYC’s Chinatown for ceremony ahead of annual Lunar New Year parade. Chants of ‘Be Strong Wuhan!’ If you are staying away, you are missing out.”

What coronavirus scare was he talking about????

The Trump administration’s quarantine and travel ban in response to the Wuhan coronavirus could undercut international efforts to fight the outbreak by antagonizing Chinese leaders, as well as stigmatizing people of Asian descent, according to a growing chorus of public health experts and lawmakers.

The World Health Organization’s top official on Tuesday repeated concern that moves that interfere with transportation and trade could harm efforts to address the crisis, though he didn't directly name the United States. Meanwhile, unions representing flight attendants, nurses and teachers criticized the administration on Tuesday for not being forthcoming about what kind of screening and treatment individuals will undergo, and some members of Congress say they're concerned the efforts could stoke racial discrimination.

Biden never mentioned the China travel restrictions in his speech. Accusing Trump of being racist etc... has been a recurrent argument for the last two years. Only Trump said it was about China, lying as usual. There was no opposition to the China travel restrictions when he made this decision.

As for Sanders, the statement is from March 10 and was likely referring to other border closing. EU travel ban, Mexico travel ban? Again there is no mention of China

Stop deflecting. Come back when you have a quote of Dems criticizing the China travel restrictions. If it were true that is was such an overwhelming reaction, it should be very easy to find plenty!

You are just bending the truth now . Biden said it in a tweet directly after the travel ban and then back tracked straight after (typical leftie traits to never stand for what you believe in) . Your blind hate will spin anything . It’s sad a grown man can be so vitriolic . Just admit you got it wrong and stop embarrassing yourself . All I feel is pity for you now .

It's you who are embarrassing yourself by backing Trumps lies. Lol.

Report: Americans At World Health Organization Told Trump Administration About Coronavirus ‘Late Last Year’

"

U.S. physicians, researchers and public health experts—many connected to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention—were working at WHO’s Geneva headquarters as part of a years-long rotation, the Post reported, and they provided information about the coronavirus to the White House as it emerged late last year.

CDC officials were consulting with their WHO counterparts since the outbreak began, with sensitive information being shared with U.S. officials (including Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar) in a CDC secure facility,

On top of it, each of the 34 members of the WHO executive board has been designated by it's country. They are also usually members of their domestic health organisation. So representatives of the governments of the US, Germany, Japan, Australia, etc... have all participated in deliberations and voted on WHO decisions.

He did not mention China travel restrictions in that tweet either:

Yet trump was surprised.

Did he fire his representatives for not telling him? Is Alex Azar back at his job as pharmaceutical lobbyist and executive?

Odd, I don't recall saying anything about an overwhelming reaction. Perhaps you have me confused with someone else.

I hope Trump watched the WHO and Global Citizen star studded virtual concert. Drew 20.7 million viewers across 26 TV networks in the United States according to Nielsen data. Raised US$127.9 million for health care workers and WHO. That’s quite a resounding support for the health care workers and Coronavirus relief and WHO.
